AUGUSTA — The 12th annual Northern New England Retiree Activity Day will occur at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Augusta Armory, sponsored by the New England Military Retiree Council, Fort Drum Retiree Office and the Maine National Guard.

The purpose is to provide retired service members from all military branches (i.e. Army, Navy, Army Reserve, National Guard, Air Force and Coast Guard) with information on Veterans Administration entitlements and benefits, legal assistance, medical assistance and personnel identification updates.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The displays and services will be available from 9 a.m. to 2  p.m.
