Society program

OXFORD — The Oxford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, at the Kay House, Pleasant Street.
Julie Daye of Norway will demonstrate making baskets and other items with pine needles. Refreshments will be served following the program.

The Kay House Museum is open from 1 to 4 p.m. every Friday.

School reunion

OXFORD — The 1969 Oxford Hills High School reunion will take place from
noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at the home of Steve and Sandy Roderick,
off Pigeon Hill. There will be
finger rolls, salads, veggie and cheese trays.Cost is $15 a person.
Those attending should bring their own beverage and chair. It will be
held rain or shine.

Church services 

WEST SUMNER — Members of the First Universalist Church of Norway and
the First Universalist Church of West Paris will attend Sunday morning
summer worship services at the Universalist Church of West Sumner.
Beginning on the first Sunday in August and continuing through the
first Sunday in September, the Norway and West Paris churches will hold
evening Vesper services at 6:30 p.m. The Aug. 2 service will be held at
the Norway church, 479 Main St., then the services will alternate
between Norway and West Paris. The Vesper services will be informal,
participatory, and held outdoors as the weather permits.
The West Paris and Norway Universalist churches are inclusive,
non-dogmatic, and non-creedal Liberal Christian churches affiliated
with the Unitarian Universalist Association.
