LEWISTON — Joshua and Rachael Williams have recently joined the team at the First Assembly of God Church as Associate and Youth Pastors.

Joshua was raised in Beaconsfield, New Brunswick, Canada, and at age 13
felt the call to ministry. He graduated from the Southern Victoria
High School in 2006 and continued his education at Faith School
Theology in Charleston, Maine. In his freshman year at Faith, he met
Rachael who was a senior at Central High School in Corinth. She
graduated in 2007 and went to the University of Southern Maine to major in Hispanic studies and communications.

While at USM, she felt the call
towards ministry and Bible-centered education and transferred to Faith the following year. While attending college, Joshua and
Rachael came to First Assembly of God for youth ministries.
They were also both active in the Voices of Faith Choir and Dr. Bell’s
Trio.

The couple was married on May 30, at the Charleston Pentecostal Church and enjoyed a week together in Florida before starting work at the church. Joshua completed his ministerial major and Rachael completed the Cornerstone Program in May. The couple was welcomed to the church by Pastor and Sister Don Cougle in June.
