FARMINGTON — Wayne is a handsome velveteen bunny that is available for adoption at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

He loves to hop around the lobby and play with the three kittens in that area. Wayne will be adopted as a house bunny only due to his velveteens fur. He is neutered, which helps with litterbox habits, lessens chewing behavior and gives the bunny a happier, longer life.

He is an intelligent bunny who would love to find his forever home. Anyone who feels they have some extra time and love to give should hop on by the shelter and check out Wayne. 

Shelter staff said donations of bleach, cat litter, cat food and cat litter boxes are especially helpful in this economy.
