AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer a plumbing code course from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 14 to Nov. 18. The cost of the course is $650 and includes books and materials.
The course will prepare the student to take the Maine State Examination for Journeymen or Master Plumbers. Using materials from the IAMPO Maine Plumbing Code, the course will include the fundamental theory of plumbing, arithmetic and related geometry, figuring offsets and elementary science.
The course will be taught by Bob Landry, a licensed plumber with extensive experience in the industry.
