Vicki Foster weeds a bed of lettuce, peas and cauliflower at the Hope Harvest Garden at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington.. Staff from Mallett School and other volunteers worked in the garden recently. They harvested lettuce, peas, beans, beets, tomatoes, cauliflower and garlic. Anyone who would like to volunteer during open garden hours from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays or 2 to 4 p.m. weeding Wednesdays should call Eileen Liddy at the Healthy Community Coalition at 779-2923.
