Adam and Serena Theriault

RUMFORD — Serena Marston and Adam Theriault were united in marriage in a ceremony held on July 12 at the Sons of Italy. Officiating the ceremony was Georgette Hodgson, with Jim Austin at the keyboard.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Christine Marston of Mexico. The bridegroom is the son of Nancy Theriault of Mexico and Larry Theriault of Mexico.

The bride was given in marriage by Jason McKenna of Mexico, her uncle. She wore a sleeveless, white traditional wedding gown with bead work on the bodice. The gown was overlaid with lace and had a full length train. Her bouquet was made of white Calla lilies and Star Gazer lilies.

The matron of honor was Sonia LaPointe of Mexico, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessy Marston of Mexico, daughter of the bride, Celina Lizotte of Rumford, cousin of the bride, and Donna Gallant of Ohio, cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Haley Cole, Morgan Theriault and Gracie Halacy of Mexico, daughters of the couple. The ring bearer was Christian Cole of Mexico, son of the bride.

The best man was Mat Theriault of Mexico, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were John Merchant of Mexico, Jason Beedy of Mexico, Jim Jasud of East Dixfield and Scott Sirois of Mexico, friends of the bridegroom.

The hall was decorated with a theme of blue and white. The wedding cake was made by Lisa Malchiskey, aunt of the bridegroom.


The couple was happy to celebrate this special day with all six of their children, Jessy, Haley, Morgan, C.J., Gracie and Aiden.


For their honeymoon, the couple traveled to the coast for relaxing and for an extended weekend of swimming and fishing.
