Recently, we have been attending our son’s Fly Football practices and then a round robin on Aug. 23. We have been very impressed with the teamwork that is being stressed and demonstrated by Junior Lions’ coaches and assistants. It is very clear that the coaches truly care about the youth who are on the team. They teach them and constructively correct errors in play while consistently offering encouragement and praise. As a result, it is very evident that the team is quickly becoming a united group of friends and players.
It was a pleasure to watch the players’ evolving skills shine at the round robin — the way they supported each other, and how they immediately “took a knee” when one of the players was down on the field for a few minutes.
Together, the coaches and youth are an outstanding example of teamwork, and we are eagerly looking forward to the Junior Lions’ next game.
