NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital has announce the successful completion of the Safe Sitter® class on July 13 with participants, Mackenzie Vehue, Anna Tyrina, Brianna Santos, Ashley Gilbert, Vanessa Godwin, Krystal Nelson, Elise Dekutoski, Will Kyle, Amanda Martin and Hailee Cote.

Safe Sitter® (www.safesitter.org) is a medically accurate program that teaches ages 11 to 15 how to be safe, nurturing babysitters. The goal of the program is to reduce the number of avoidable and unintentional deaths among children being cared for by babysitters. The class teaches infant and child CPR, safety for the sitter, business practices and how to entertain children.

Call the Family Birthplace at 743-1562, ext. 380 for information on future class dates or to sign. The fee is $50 for the two- day session.
