Annemarie Smith, above, a guitarist and singer-songwriter known for her "subtle fingerpicking and uncanny slide guitar licks" will give two performances Friday, Aug. 28, at the Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Foundation in Greene. According to her Web site, Smith, a Parsonsfield native, "mines the rich history of the blues, ranging from early roots through today’s artists, making them all unmistakably her own." She has been performing on the northern New England music scene since 1997. Smith, who is currently attending college in Pennsylvania, will travel to Greene for concerts at 2 and 7 p.m. Admission is free. It was incorrectly reported in yesterday’s Encore section that Mary Ukelady Hargreaves would be performing at those times.
