Baked bean supper

INDUSTRY — A baked bean and ham supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Industry Town Hall. The menu will also include casseroles, salads, breads, beverages and desserts. Cost is $7 for adults; $3, children under 12. Proceeds will benefit the United in Christ Presbyterian Church.

Last service

SUMNER — The West Sumner Universalist Church will hold its last Sunday service of the year at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30. The Rev. Nancy Micoules will lead the service, to which all are invited. A special luncheon and silent auction will be held afterward.
