Corinne R Nadeau

AUBURN – Corinne R Nadeau, 80, a former resident of Jay, died Sunday morning, Aug. 30, at Auburn Residential Care Center in Auburn where she had resided for the past year.
She was born April 7, 1929, in Glens Falls, N.Y., the daughter of Herbert F. and Madelyn (Woods) Mattison. Connie graduated from Glens Falls High School. She had worked for GE, retiring in 1967. In September of 1967, she moved to Jay where she made her home for the past 42 years. In 1994, she married Jean Nadeau of Jay.
Connie was a member of the Frank L. Mitchell V.F.W. Post 3335 Auxiliary, serving as past president and district president each for five year terms.
She is survived by her husband, Jean Nadeau of Jay and Indio, Calif.; her daughter, Madelyn Frechette of Jay; two grandsons, Robert Butler and Todd
Ingalls; and two granddaughters, Tammy Goodnow and Tammy Ingalls, all residing in New York; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Ingalls.
