Criminal mischief
A vehicle parked at the Municipal Parking Garage at 1 Oak St. had its tires slashed prior to 11:40 a.m. on Aug. 27.
A vehicle parked at 135 Vale St. had a window smashed on Aug. 25 prior to 4:30 p.m.
A vehicle parked at 28 Mitchell St. was egged overnight Aug. 24-25.
The rear of Lisbon Street News at 890 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti overnight;
“KREW,” “Vandalart,” “Shade” and “$aint$” were painted in red and black paint.
Theft
A customer of 7-Eleven at 345 Main St. had his cell phone stolen on Aug. 23 at 12:13 a.m. The
suspect was an 18-year-old white male, who took the phone off of the counter.
A customer of Hannaford at 692 Sabattus St. had her purse stolen during the evening on Aug. 24.
A patron of the Health Club and Spa at 1977 Lisbon St. had her cell phone stolen during the evening on Aug. 24.
Three nail guns, a bench grinder, a hammer drill and a hand planer were stolen from the basement of 36 Bradley St. prior to 5 p.m. on Aug. 27.
A black boy’s BMX bicycle was stolen from 61 Howard St. on Aug. 27 at 4 p.m.
A red line bike was stolen from the bike rack outside of Lewiston House of Pizza at 95 Lincoln St. on Aug. 23 prior to 8 p.m.
Burglary
9-11 Howe St. was burglarized over the weekend of Aug. 21-24. The buildings are vacant; entry was gained through a broken cellar window. Copper pipe was taken.
An apartment at 53 Tall Pines Dr. was burglarized between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 22. Entry was gained through a window screen. Cash was taken.
An apartment at 247 Webber Ave. was burglarized between 8 a.m. on Aug. 23 and 9 p.m. on Aug. 24. Entry was gained by carding a door. A Sony PSP, Playstation 3, 10 PS3 games, Verizon LG phone, 50-100 silver dollars and foreign coins, and Apple iPod were taken.
An apartment at 154 Bartlett St. was burglarized on Aug. 25 prior to 6 p.m., and a computer was taken.
Tools were taken from the Pepperell Mill at 440 Lisbon St. overnight Aug. 22-23. The locks on a door were cut to gain entry.
An apartment at 110 Pierce St. was burglarized prior to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 27. Medication was taken.
An apartment at 74 Pierce St. was burglarized sometime in the previous week, Aug. 17-24. Entry was gained through a screen window.
An apartment at 98 Pierce St. was burglarized between 4 and 10 p.m. on Aug. 21. Entry was gained through a window screen; prescription pills were taken.
An apartment at 47 Spruce St. was burglarized overnight Aug. 24-25. A Hewlett-Packard laptop was taken. James
Robertson, 19, an acquaintance of the tenant, was later identified as a suspect, and the laptop was discovered hidden under a mattress where he was staying. He has since been charged with the crime.
Motor vehicle burglaries
A vehicle parked at 40 Cottage St. was burglarized overnight Aug. 22-23. A Jeep soft top was the point of entry; a GPS and CDs were taken.
Three vehicles parked at 320 Scribner Blvd. were ransacked overnight Aug. 26-27. Change was taken from all three.
Robbery
Robert Gibson, 24, was charged with robbery on Aug. 25 at 9:07 p.m. at 53 School St. in Auburn. Officers responded to 518 Main St. for a report that a male had been jumped by a male named “Rob” who struck him in the head and took $240. Gibson had given the victim a ride from the Auburn Irving and was an acquaintance of one of the victim’s friends.
Counterfeiting
Schmengee’s Billiards at 553 Lincoln St. received a counterfeit $20 sometime during the day on Aug. 20.
An amusement owner at Smokey’s Greatest Shows at 46 Beech St. received a counterfeit $20 on Aug. 21.
Operating after suspension
Adam Gross, 35, was charged with operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Aug. 22 at 3:23 p.m. at 209 Lincoln St. following an accident.
Shawna Peckham, 26, was charged with operating while license suspended on Aug. 22 at 7:44 p.m. at Pine and Bartlett streets following a routine traffic stop.
Roger St. Peter, 29, was charged with operating after suspension on Aug. 24 at 253 Lincoln St. after his vehicle struck a pedestrian, causing injuries.
Operating under the influence
Maryjane Gervais, 64, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 21 at 12:35 a.m. at East Avenue and Janelle Street following a routine traffic stop.
Bruce Russo, 23, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 22 at 2:44 a.m. at Lincoln and Main streets following a routine traffic stop.
Charles Fontenot, 27, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 23 at 2:41 a.m. at Old Greene and No Name Pond roads after he drove a vehicle he had stolen from Sabattus off the road and into a ditch.
Sherrie Willis, 51, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 28 at 12:14 a.m. at Ash and Park streets following a routine traffic stop.
Timothy Reynolds, 23, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 28 at 12:57 a.m. at 145 Russell St. following a routine traffic stop.
