The Greenwood Mountain Inn in Hebron hosted a dessert and tea buffet on June 23 to benefit the Hebron Historical Society. A large selection of desserts, teas and coffees were available. Violin and guitar music and poetry reading highlighted the evening, along with a tour of the inn. Society members helped plan the event. The society’s next event will be the annual potluck picnic at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the inn. Wilma Irish from the Norlands Living History Center will appear as Mercy Lovejoy, a woman on a Maine poor farm in the 1800s. The public is invited.
