DIXFIELD — Neighborly Senior Citizens met on July 15 at the Dixfield Legion with 53 present. The session was called to order by President Connie Tutlis, who read several selections.
Edna Holman and Alfa Palmer were welcomed back after being absent for a long time. Observing July birthdays were Eleanor Dunham and Ruperta Nichols. Observing July anniversaries were Henry and Priscilla Dupill, 57 years, and Hector and Rita Girardin, 51 years.
Door prize winners were Carol Gallant and Marjorie Johnson. A Chinese auction was held following the meeting.
A nickel beano will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., with beano being played from 1 to 2:30 p.m. All are welcome. For more information,call Tutlis at 364-4189 or Carol at 364-4798.
The Neighborly Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19. Anyone age 50 or over is welcome to attend and new members are welcome.
