July Christmas

RUMFORD — The Snowshoe Club will hold a fun day at Campground Worthley Pond with Christmas in July on Saturday, July 25. The day will start at noon with entertainment, games and prizes. Tony and Tricia Belskis will perform classic hits from the ’50s to today from 5 to 9 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.

Science fun

MEXICO — As part of the “Terrific Tuesdays” summer program for kids,
the Mexico Public Library will host a special program, “Stupendous
Science Fun,” at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28. Bitsy Ionta, scientist and
educator, will present a hands-on program of fun with science, geared
for kids ages 2 to 12. The event will be held at the Calvin Lyons Hall
