AUBURN — The Edward Little High School Class of 1949 held it’s 60th class reunion on Aug. 16, at the Lost Valley Conference Center with 81 in attendance, including 52 classmates.

Reunion Chairman Bob Libby was in charge of the program which included a moment of silence prior to dinner in remembrance of 86 deceased alumni. Joan Boston Libby arranged the memorial boards with photos of each deceased classmate.

Keyboardist Mark Croteau provided music prior to the meal.

Committee members Billie Thomas Wight and Lucille Chase Oldham made decorations placed on each dinner table. Gerry Timberlake and Gerry Rousseau sold 50/50 tickets with a drawing held during the serving of cake. Marilyn McAlister Redmun and Bernie Lucas were the winners of the drawing. Jackie Fontaine Culina and Diana Donovan Estes were in charge of welcoming the classmates and giving out name tags. Roy and Mary Newton Tassinari photographed each alumni as they arrived.

Tim Bernard, president of the class, briefly addressed the gathering followed by the passing of the roving microphone by classmate Win Russell.

Those in attendance were given a jotter notebook and pen imprinted with the occasion on the front along with a list of all classmates and contact information.

A local luncheon is planned for August 2010.
