About 40 percent of the new clothing, valued at $1,500, taken in a July burglary from the Free Store in Mexico was recovered last week. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon, above with some of the items, said the department has a suspect but no arrests have been made. The items are gathered throughout the year to give to recipients of Santa’s Helpers, a charity operated by the Free Store.
