LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce breakfast program will be held at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Martindale Country Club, Beech Hill
Road in Auburn.

Featured speaker will be Jan Phillips, associate dean for community relations, USM
at Lewiston-Auburn College. She will discuss the progress made by
College for ME — Androscoggin and its plans for the future. Phillips also
teaches in social and behavioral sciences at the college. She has lived in Lewiston since late 1984. A community and educational activist, she has
served as a longtime member on both municipal and area nonprofit
boards.

The breakfast is sponsored by Lamey Wellehan Shoes. Call
783-2249 to reserve a spot. There is a nominal fee for attendance.

Chamber members in the “spotlight” this month are: The Greek Festival, L/A Arts, United Way of Androscoggin County, and Willis of Northern New England Inc.
