Coach: Mark Bonnevie (eighth year)
Last year’s record: 4-5

Key losses: Miles Hutchinson (RB/LB), Dave Farrington (OL/LB), Justin Shink (WR/DB), Zach Lacroix (OL/DL), Dylan Wiggins-Ryder (OL/DL), Kyle DeMillo (WR/LB).
Promising newcomers: Seniors — Grant Richards (WR), Dylan Bronish (DL); Juniors — Jake Lord (RB/DB), Kyle Storer (WR/LB), Jordan C. Couture (RB/DB), Matt Ferland (C), Matt Lancaster (OL/DL), Jordan P. Couture (OL); Sophomores — Andrew Stearns (OL/LB), Billy Calden (RB/LB), Ron Holland (OL/DL), Zach Bonnevie (WR).
Outlook: Overtime losses to Boothbay and Livermore Falls left the Tigers essentially one play outside the Western C playoff field last fall. Even if the grid didn’t increase from four to eight teams this season, Jay would be a good bet to make the cut. Clark returns for his third season as the starting QB after moving out of state briefly last winter. He’ll engineer a potent spread offense with plenty of playmakers. Both lines must be rebuilt on the fly, but Dorr provides a solid building block. Expect some great battles with Dirigo, Livermore Falls and Winthrop as Jay challenges for Campbell North supremacy.
Coach’s comment:
“The line is untested, but they’re solid. We actually were very happy with how they played in our first scrimmage.” — Mark Bonnevie
