The Lewiston Police Department responded to 661 calls between 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, and 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, of those calls, 141 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief
An air conditioner was removed from a window at 78 Strawberry Ave. and broken on the ground before 7 p.m. on Aug. 31.
A washing machine located inside of 29 Vale St. had damage done to its coin box in an apparent attempt to gain entry to it.
A vehicle parked at 3 Orange St. was vandalized overnight Aug. 27-28.
A vehicle parked at 100 Charles St. was keyed overnight Aug. 27-28.
A vehicle parked at 701 Webster St. had a beer bottle broken against it overnight Aug. 30-31.
A commercial vehicle parked at 26 Goddard Road had its windshield broken overnight Aug. 29-30.
A bucket of paint was thrown at a door of 197 Bartlett St. before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 1.
A vehicle parked near Pine and Lisbon streets was dented by someone who kicked it sometime before 6 p.m. on Sept. 2.
The rear of TD Banknorth at 32 Mill St. was sprayed with graffiti overnight Aug. 31 to Sept. 1.
Two vehicles parked in the Chestnut Street Parking Garage had windows broken and property taken from inside at 10:11 p.m. Aug. 28.
Thefts
A silver bicycle was stolen from outside of the Moulton House at 19 Frye St. before 6 p.m. Sept. 3.
A washer and dryer left in a driveway at 127 Webster St. were stolen between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 31.
A bicycle was stolen from 10 St. Pierre St. before 8:30 p.m. Aug 31.
Burglary
A home at 120 Farwell St. was burglarized between Aug. 15 and 28. Entry was gained by breaking a rear window. Copper pipe was removed from inside.
A residence at 54 South Lisbon Road was burglarized before 2:22 p.m. Sept. 3. Jewelry was taken from inside.
A hallway storage area and a shed at 123 Howe St. were burglarized between 7 p.m. Aug. 28 and 5 p.m. Aug. 29. An Xbox, Sega Genesis, some games, and an air conditioner were taken. Ty Taylor, 47, was arrested on Sept. 3 by detectives Godbout and Campbell.
Motor vehicle burglaries
A vehicle parked at 10 Tall Pines Dr. was burglarized overnight Aug. 29-30.
A vehicle parked at the Animal Emergency Clinic at 37 Strawberry Ave. was burglarized between 8 and 10 p.m. Aug. 30. A purse and cell phone were taken.
A vehicle parked at 121 East Ave. was burglarized between 12:15 and 1 a.m. Sept. 2. A Garmin GPS was taken.
A vehicle parked in the Centreville Parking Garage at 62 Canal St. had a window broken with a brick and a radio taken from inside before 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
Motor vehicle theft
A white 1999 GMC Savanna, registration plate ME CO 796152, was stolen from Custom Laminates at 63 Whipple St. between 5 p.m. Sept. 1 and 8 a.m. Sept. 2. It was involved in a gas drive-off in Casco at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 2.
OAS arrests
William Holt, 31, charged with operating while license suspended and possession of suspended license at 6:51 a.m. on Sept. 3 at Lincoln and Cedar streets.
Daniel Lahey, 37, charged with operating after suspension at 6 a.m. on Aug. 31 at 601 College St.
OUI arrests
Karen Parent, 52, charged with operating under the influence at 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 29 at 2 Great Falls Plaza at a roadblock on the Longley Bridge.
Carl Woolery, 54, charged with operating under the influence at 10:28 p.m. on Aug. 29 at Main Street and Brooks Avenue.
Jay Courchaine, 34, charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 31 at 1:11 a.m. at 850 Lisbon St.
Christine Gilleland, 22, charged with operating under the influence and violating conditions of release at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 at 64 Sabattus St.
Curtis Hensler, 23, charged with operating under the influence at 1:08 a.m. on Sept. 2 at Birch and Knox streets.
Timothy Reynolds, 23, charged with operating under the influence at 12:57 a.m. on Aug. 28 at 145 Russell St.
Wanted
Nicholas Jones, 23, on a warrant charging assault.
Elmer Howard, 42, on a warrant charging aggravated trafficking in drugs.
