TOPSHAM – Nate Blais scored the lone goal to lift Edward Little to a 1-0 victory over Mt. Ararat in KVAC boys’ soccer action Wednesday.

Blais broke through a very defensive contest with a shot to the top right goal post for the game-winner with 4:17 remaining in regulation for the Red Eddies (3-0).

Goalie Nate Bryant made seven saves for the Eagles (1-1-1), while Ian Dollen-Oliveto also turned back seven shots to notch the win in net for Edward Little.

Oak Hill 3, Gardiner 1

GARDINER – Brian Soucy netted a pair of first-half goals Wednesday afternoon as Oak Hill rolled to a 3-1 win over Gardiner in a KVAC boys soccer.

Cody Fortier also tallied for the Raiders (2-0), while Ben Daggett, Dan Tucker and Adam Soucy were credited with assists. Cody Plourde made eight saves for Oak Hill to notch the victory. Joe Coughlin scored the Tigers’ (0-2) lone goal off a corner kick.

Caleb Smith turned back 15 shots between the posts for Gardiner.
