Eugene E. Gervais
1938 – 2009
LEWISTON — Eugene E. Gervais, 71, of 26 Bolster St., Auburn and formerly of 72 Morse St., Lewiston, died Monday, Sept. 7, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born in Madawaska, July 2, 1938, the son of Edward and Ida (Pelletier) Gervais and had been a resident of this community all of his life. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Church. He enjoyed bicycle riding, fishing, gardening and bird feeding.
He is survived by six brothers, Normand Gervais of Abbot Village, Philip Gervais, Emery Gervais, Eloi Gervais, Conrad Gervais and Levite Gervais, all of Lewiston; two sisters, Jacqueline Roy of Winslow and Clemence Nadeau of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father and mother; and two brothers, Richard Gervais of Lewiston and Angelo Gervais of Lewiston.
