MEXICO — The following incidents were handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.

Arrest

Sara Roberts, 30, Maine Avenue, Rumford, operating after suspension, at 10:51 a.m. Sept. 5 on Spring Street. She was released from the Mexico Police Department on $200 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 3.

Thefts

An Orchard Street resident reported at 8:40 a.m. Sept. 4 that someone had taken a 2.25 ton pump jack, valued at $250, from his yard sometime the night before. Police have a suspect.

An Oak Street resident reported at 11:59 a.m. Sept. 1 that someone had taken her car keys from her vehicle as it was parked on Main Street. Police have a suspect.

An Osgood Avenue resident reported at 6:35 p.m. Aug. 31 that someone had taken several prescription narcotic pills, with a street value of about $200, from her purse earlier that day. Police have a suspect.

Attempted burglary

A Harlow Hill resident reported at 11:22 a.m. Sept. 7 that someone had entered her home through a rear basement door after breaking the hinges on the door. Nothing appears to have been taken. Damage was estimated at $50.
