AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 classes beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Introduction to PowerPoint will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 23 through Oct. 14. The cost of the course is $165 and includes the textbook. Participants will explore basic PowerPoint skills along with presentation practices to connect and captivate their audiences. Students will become comfortable creating, editing and adding elements to presentations. A basic understanding of Windows is recommended.
Intermediate PowerPoint will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 27 through Nov. 17. The cost is $165 with the textbook included. Intermediate PowerPoint will show participants how to take their PowerPoint presentations to a higher level in design and functionality exploring animations, slide transitions, adding sound and more.
Both classes will be taught by Shelley Brown and are open to the public.
