WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester Polytechnic Institute has announced that the following local residents were named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring semester:

Mitchell Riley, son of Douglas A. Riley of Readfield, is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering.

Katelyn Perkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory D. Perkins of Auburn, is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering.

Angela McAlister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis I. McAlister of Buckfield, is a junior majoring in actuarial mathematics.

WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
