Lisbon 8, Boothbay 0
LISBON — Ashley Beaulieu scored four goals as Lisbon coasted to an 8-0 girls’ soccer victory over Boothbay on Monday.
The Greyhounds scored five timers in the first half and never looked back. Brooke Lawrence added two goals and an assist, while Katherine Lemieux and Katelynn Adamson also scored for Lisbon (5-0).
Kyrstin Ramich made eight saves for Lisbon, while Michaela McFetrridge had 10 saves for Boothbay (0-4).
Poland 0, NYA 0
YARMOUTH — Poland and North Yarmouth battled to a 0-0 tie Monday in WMC girls’ soccer action.
NYA (3-0-1) outshot the Knights 19-8. Sam St. Pierre made 11 saves for Poland (0-2-1). NYA’s Caroline Browne was credited with threestops.
Mountain Valley 3, Madison 1
RUMFORD — Three different players scored goals as Mountain Valley remained unbeaten with a 3-1 girls’ soccer triumph over Madison.
McKenzie Patterson, Kate Thorne and Ellen Thorne found the net for the Falcons (3-0-2). Lyndsay Weese scored the lone goal for Madison (0-4). Breana Roberts made 12 saves in goal for Mountain Valley. Emilee Berry stopped 14 shots for the Bulldogs.
Field hockey
Winthrop 3, Georges Valley 0
WINTHROP — Nikki Scott scored a pair of goals to help Winthrop ease to a 3-0 field hockey victory over Georges Valley.
Scott gave Winthrop (4-0) a quick lead when she scored 1:30 into the game. Kelsey Ouellette, who assisted on Scott’s two goals, completed the scoring for the Ramblers, scoring with 30 seocnds to play in the opening half for a three-goal cushion.
Katie Michelsen made five saves for Winthro, while Cierra Smalley recorded 14 saves for Georges Valley (0-4).
Dirigo 5, St. Dom’s 2
DIXFIELD — Jordan Holmes and Colette McKeen scored first-half goals to send Dirigo to a 5-2 victory over St. Dom’s.
Holmes added another goal in the second half to finish with two goals. Hannah Knight and Katrina Pulk also scored for ther Cougars (2-2). Assists were by Sam Blanchette, Morgan Hutchins, Dani Ranger and Alyssa Charity. Amber Woods had eight saves in goal.
Katie Naum and Kaitlin Roy scored in the seocnd half for St. Dom’s. Jenna Fongemie stopped 14 shots.
