Rummage sale

RUMFORD — A rummage and bake sale will be held at St. Barnabas Church fro 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.

Cookout

DIXFIELD — The Poodunck Snowmobile Club will have a cookout at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Webb River Sportsmen’s Clubhouse on the Canton Point Road. The cookout is free to all past members and any new members that want to join that day. It is for the entire family and the menu will include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad, chips and drinks. A short meeting will be held after the meal.

Club to meet

ROXBURY — The Slippery Sliders Snowmobile Club will meet at 7
p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at the home of Raymond and Sylvia Touchette. All
members are urged to attend.

Class luncheon

HANOVER — The Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for the monthly luncheon around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the summer home of Harry and Fran Burns at Howard Pond. Attendees are asked to bring their lunch and a lawn chair.

Cemetery cleaning

PERU — The Demerritt Cemetery is requesting that all decorations be
removed from lots in the cemetery by Oct. 1 in preparation of
the fall cleaning. Halloween decorations may be left on, but need to be
removed immediately afterward.
