What is wrong with this country? First of all, a lot of children are not taught any respect. Not for themselves, their parents, their teachers or anyone else. And why should they? Now there are people who have no respect for our president. What did they think he was going to say to school children? It’s a wonder they don’t criticize Barbara Bush for reading to children, afraid it might be something they shouldn’t hear!
Also just for once I wish that all Republicans and Democrats would forget what party they are registered in and vote for the good of the people. That is both in the state of Maine and our country. The majority of the ones in Washington have no idea how the ordinary working person exists on their paychecks or how anyone gets by on just Social Security.
So many people are paying a fortune for insurance and others simply can not afford to have any. It seems to me that there is something wrong with this picture. If the Republicans are so against what President Obama is trying to do about insurance, why didn’t they do something during the time that George W. Bush was president?
