LISBON —  Maine and U.S. flags were flying at half-staff in Lisbon on Thursday, hometown of former state Rep. John Jalbert Jr.

Funeral services for Jalbert, a Democrat, were scheduled for Thursday.

Gov. John Baldacci, who served in the Legislature with Jalbert, ordered that flags fly at half-staff in Lisbon from dawn to dusk.

Jalbert served five terms in the Maine House of Representatives, from 1985 to 1991.
