Marion E. Berry

NORWAY – Marion Effie Berry, 80, of Norway, died Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Norway Convalescent Center in Norway.

She was born in Gardner, on Jan. 8, 1919, to George and Rachel (Colby) Chapman. She was a graduate of Gardner High School.

Marion owned The Fabric Store in Norway, worked at Brown’s Apparel, and was very talented at creating beautiful draperies for many homes in the area.

She was married to Wendell Berry for many years who predeceased her in 2004.

Marion is survived by a niece, Susan Chase Baltrus of Lewiston; a great-nephew, Matt Brown of Tucson, Ariz.; and a great-niece, Allison Brown and Peter McWalter and their daughter of Woolwich.
