Advocacy vigil

MEXICO — The Abused Women’s Advocacy Project will host a vigil of remembrance at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the gazebo. The vigil is to honor those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, honor survivors and raise awareness of domestic violence in the community. All are welcome to the community event.

Falcongate

RUMFORD — Oxford Federal Credit Union will host “Falcongate” from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Chet Bulger football field
at the Hosmer Field Complex. The events will be held on Fridays, Sept. 25, Oct. 2, 16 and 23, home game dates for the Mountain Valley football team. It will be aired live on 100.7
WOXO.

“Falcongate” will be free to attend and all are welcome. There will be fun and games and prizes will be given out to those in attendance.
