WINDSOR — The eighth annual Common Ground Country Fair, held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, had record crowds celebrating rural life in Maine. The fair featured agricultural demonstrations, alternative energy demonstrations, Maine craft displays, folk art and entertainment. The children’s area provided activities for the young throughout the days at the fair.

The food booths were geared toward less white sugar and white flour, more natural ingredients and many vegetarian dishes.

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association was delighted with the good weather and the cooperation of the fair-goers, making this year’s fair a huge success.
