NEW GLOUCESTER — The fourth annual “Hit the Trails…Walk, Run or Stroll” will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Pineland Farms. The Cancer Community Center of South Portland invites anyone whose life has been affected by cancer and anyone interested in helping to raise money for the services and programs at the center to participate in the fundraiser.

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. At 1 p.m., walkers will have the option of a one-mile stroll or a 5K walk. Runners may also choose the 10K loop. There will be a barbecue, live music and children’s activities during and after the event.

The Cancer Community Center provides classes, activities and support services to adults in Maine with any type of cancer at any stage and their families and friends, at no charge.
