Florence S. Coulombe
1929 – 2009
AUBURN — Florence “Flo” Coulombe of Auburn passed away very peacefully with her family by her side Sept. 23, at Clover Living Center.
She was born in Auburn, Feb. 10, 1929, to Frederick R. and Evelyn Nason Stevens. She graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 1947. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Auburn.
On Feb. 24, 1948, she married Gerard R. Coulombe in Bay City, Mich. They moved to Zephyrhills, Fla., in 1976, where they made their home until this year. He died March 6.
She is survived by a son, Gary W. Coulombe of Leeds; a sister, Lucille Ray of Oxford; two grandsons, Craig Coulombe of Auburn and Danny Coulombe of Lewiston; two special nieces, Linda Pearl and her husband, Tom, of Oxford and Vickie Ramos and her husband, Jeff, of South Harpswell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, Lucas Coulombe; and three sisters, Elizabeth Petersen, Bette Bruneau and Geraldine Child.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Clover Living Center and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the care shown to Florence.
