Jacob and Heidi Gardner

POLAND SPRING — The wedding of Heidi Brushwein and Jacob Gardner was held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the Poland Spring Inn. Pastor Donald Mayberry officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Gardner is the daughter of Robert and Bonita Brushwein of Auburn. Mr. Gardner is the son of Norma and Steven Crowell of Oxford and George Gardner II of Oxford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Courtney Croteau, best friend, was maid of honor and Carrie Dunbar, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Jillian Forzese, friend, was bridesmaid and Emily Dunbar, niece, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Michael Doze, friend and ushers were George Gardner III, brother of the bridegroom, and Kevin Crowell, stepbrother of the bridegroom. Ethan Dunbar, nephew, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Poland Spring Inn, after which the couple traveled to Jamaica.

The bride received a master’s degree in architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The bridegroom received an associate degree in electromechanical technologies from Central Maine Community College.
