Molly and David Kivus

BRUNSWICK — The wedding of Molly E. Patten and David A. Kivus was held at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 in Brunswick. Joseph Patten, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Kivus is the daughter of Joseph and Mary Patten of Rockland. Mr. Kivus is the son of Jeanine Kivus of Lewiston and the late Atty. John E. Kivus.

The bride wore a taffeta gown with portrait neckline and carried a bouquet of roses.

Jessica Shrekgast was matron of honor for her sister. Junior bridesmaids were Delia Saastamoinen, daughter, and Kerry Kuriger, friend.

Kevin L. Kivus performed the duties of best man for his brother.

A reception followed at the Brunswick Inn, after which the couple traveled to Monhegan Island. They are residing in Rockland.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Maine in Portland with a master’s degree in public health. She is employed at Penobscot Bay Hospital.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Maine in Portland and is employed at the U.S. Post Office.
