Robert O. Parker

RUMFORD – Funeral services for Robert O. Parker, formerly of Rumford, were conducted Saturday at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Dr. Timothy H. Parsons as celebrant.

Organist was Harriet Rudd. Eucharistic Minister was Karen Phair. Ushers were Reggie Arsenault and David Phair.

Music selections included “Lead On, O King Eternal,” “Abide With Me” and “Amazing Grace.”

Words of remembrance were given by daughter, Kristey Husband, son-in-law James LaGrone, and friend, Roger Whitehouse. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Timothy H. Parsons and interment was at Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru.

A reception followed in the church under-croft with music provided by ” The Yet To Be Named Banjo Club.”

Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
