Suzanne M. Beaulieu
1960 – 2009

LEWISTON — Suzanne M. (Dulac) Beaulieu, 49, of McKinley Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 27, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, April 22, 1960, the daughter of Marcel and Theresa Bergeron Dulac. She was the youngest of five children. She graduated from Lewiston High School and went on to further her education at University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in early childhood education. She later obtained a business administration degree at the Lewiston-Auburn campus of the University of Maine.

This prepared her for a career at a local pre-school and taught at Temple Shalom in Auburn and later worked as a manager at Mediphis and then she later worked as a practice manager at Central Maine Pediatrics for several years. Throughout the years, she also assisted her husband with his property management. She was currently working at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick and assisted her son, Kyle with his lumber business. She also did volunteer work at Holy Family Church.

She married Maurice Y. Beaulieu of Lewiston on Sept. 16, 1985, and together they raised their son, Kyle A. Beaulieu.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting many family gatherings. She loved cooking, reading, dancing and enjoyed many summers at her camp at Grace Pond in Jackman. She loved the outdoors, fly fishing and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia. She was very proud of her son, Kyle. She was an animal lover and will be missed by her dog, Mickey.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Maurice Beaulieu; her son, Kyle Beaulieu; her father, Marcel Dulac and his wife, Pauline; her brother, Mark Dulac and his companion, Corayln Tucker; and her sister, MaryAnn and her husband, Maurice Glebocki; her mother-in-law, Geraldine Beaulieu, all of Lewiston; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother, Theresa Dulac; two brothers, Richard and Paul Dulac; a brother-in-law, Gerard “Stew” Beaulieu; and father-in-law, Albert Beaulieu.

Her family would like to thank all the staff at St. Mary’s Intensive Care Unit for their compassion and caring during this difficult time.
