LISBON — St. Matthew’s Intersection Book Club will begins its fall season with Timothy Keller’s book, “The Reason for God: Belief in the Age of Skepticism” at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 1. Weekly discussions continue every Thursday.

All are invited to engage the answers that Keller gave to thousands of sophisticated urbanites in Manhattan who doubted Christianity’s relevance in modern times. Keller’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church has more than 5,000 members and has over a dozen daughter congregations in the New York metropolitan area.

The book club meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, at the church on the hill off Route 196. Newcomers are welcome to drop by one week or every week.

Information on ordering books is available at the parish office. Call 353-8453, e-mail [email protected] or visit www.stmatthewslisbon.org.
