LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine will offer a beading class for women as part of their Girls Night Out programming. The class will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Vachon Meeting Room at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.

The session costs $30 for YWCA members and $35 for nonmembers and includes all materials and instruction. The class will be taught by PJ Mottram.

Participants will learn the basics of beading and will make a “Let’s Play” bracelet in a choice of pink, dark blue or clear. The bracelet features Swarovski crystals and oval Czech glass beads with pewter embellishments. Participants will also make a pair of matching earrings.

Limited space is available. Those attending should request color choice for the bracelet and earrings upon registration. Register by calling Kayt DeMerchant, director of marketing and hallmark programming at YWCA of Central Maine at 795-4050 or via e-mail at [email protected].
