At the Maine State Grange Womens Activities Conference on Aug. 29, Androscoggin
Junior Grange 185 had three winners in different categories. In the
contest where participants had to design a wreath, Riley Parmenter took
first place for his unique wreath that included a fishing rod handle,
lures and a chain, while his brother Aidan took second place with his
idea of using old 45 records, guitar picks and a picture of Elvis
Presley in the center. Kaitlyn Bouchard won second place with a
crocheted hat that she made in the 11 to 13½ age bracket. First place
winners received $15 and a blue ribbon and second place received $10
