Mary R. Pelletier
1927 – 2009
LEWISTON — Mary R. Pelletier, 81, of Lewiston, was called home by God on Sept 25.
She was a native and longtime resident of Lewiston. She had been living at Clover Manor for the past 10 years and her family wishes to thank the many staff members who provided such loving care for her during this time.
She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was involved in church activities through the years. As a loving and caring person, she was always willing to give of her time, energy and meager resources to help others.
She is survived by her son, Brian of Mechanic Falls; daughter,
Barbara Lizotte of Hampton Falls, N.H.; daughter, Carole Phillips of
Union; sons, Stephen of Lindsey, Ont., and Larry of Scarborough; and
seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Pelletier in 1993; her
mother, Emma Louise Lombard; and her father, Clifton H. Dow Sr.
She particularly enjoyed providing meals for the hungry and never thought twice about inviting “someone extra” for a meal at home. We love you, Mom.
