Much is being said these days about separation of church and state. Many people do not want or accept the use of “God” in the Pledge of Allegiance or in schools. Some people have mentioned eliminating the phrase “In God we trust” from money.
People should give thought to the fact that God makes it possible for each person to be here. Anyone visiting a doctor’s office and looking at any diagram or display of the miracle that is the human body should know that God, and only God, made it all possible. People should think about that before they try to have his name banned forever.
On another matter, I dispute those who want to go against the sacrament of marriage. Homosexuals claim they want equal rights and marriage, yet there are already state laws allowing them to live together (which they would do, regardless). Being married would not improve their lives, as so many have learned in the past, even after living together for 10 or 15 years.
And no matter what happens in November, same-sex couples should never be allowed to adopt children. I am very much against raising a child in such an atmosphere. Life wasn’t meant to be that way. That’s why God took a man’s rib and created a woman.
The old saying, “A million wrongs do not make a right,” should apply to homosexuals.
