GRAY — The Gray Fire Rescue Association and Department will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct 10, at Central Fire Station, 125 Shaker Rd., Route 26.

The public is invited to come and meet local firefighter and EMTs,
examine the latest in fire fighting and emergency medical equipment
and take a seat in the new attack pumper Engine 1 and the new Rescue 1.
There will be live demonstrations of vehicle extrication tools including the Jaws of Life and children will have a chance to operate a fire hose or take a ride in
the bucket of the aerial ladder. Buckle UP Bear and McGruff the Crime
Dog will also be on hand. 

Those who may be interested in becoming a department volunteer will have an opportunity to talk to members and officers.

Following the free open house, a spaghetti supper will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost for the meal is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 3 to 12 and children under the age of 3 are free.
