Lorena F. Meserve
1937 – 2009
WALES — Lorena F. (Leger) Meserve of Auburn passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Oct. 2. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her family.
Lorena was born in Jay on Oct. 23, 1937. She was the daughter of Emile and Anita (Arsenault) Leger, and a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in South Berwick.
She entered the USMC in 1956 and left in 1957 to marry James C. Meserve.
Lorena retired from UMA/LA College in 2003.
She thoroughly enjoyed being the driver while traveling the states with her good freinds and family. She was very devoted to her family and friends. A special enjoyment was playing various card games, and a lifetime of volunteering.
She is survived by five children, Anita, Tony, Kathy, Theresa and Karen; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Sarah, Jessica, Brandon, Cody, Siarra, Kristina and Michael; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; four brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James; son, Carl; her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
