Eric Lammers, center, was recently welcomed as a new member of the
Tri-Town Optimists of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland, by club
President Marylin Newell, left, and member George Matthews, right. The
Tri-Town Optimist Club, which is affiliated with Optimist
International, is one of the world’s largest and most active service
club organizations. The club works on projects to benefit area youth
