Sheila Ellen Otero-Otero

1941 – 2009

WOODSTOCK- Sheila Ellen Otero-Otero, 68, of Woodstock, died Oct. 3, 2009.

She was born in Old Town on Nov. 10, 1941, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Almyra (Leclerc) Phinney. She graduated from Sanford High School, class of 1959, served in the U.S. Army from 1960 thru 1962, and later attended the U of M at Farmington with a degree in teaching. Shre taught school at Woodstock Elementary, Andover and the Ethel Bissbee School in Bethel. She married Felix Otero-Otero on Oct. 6, 1961.

She was a member of Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church of Norway and a member of the Church family group. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and was an avid reader as well a loving to sew and crochet and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Felix, of Woodstock; two sons, Michael Felix Otero-Otero and his wife, Terri, of Massachusetts, and Ethan Otero-Otero of Bryant Pond; two daughters, Myra Massey and her husband, Daryl, of Waterville and Amy Otero-Otero and her husband, Marcus Therrien, of Falmouth; two brothers, Robert Phinney of Shapleigh and Ronald Phinney of Limington; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Alyssa, Christopher, Jennifer, Callan and Kiley.
