Basket raffle

RUMFORD — The members of St. Timothy
Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, are asked to donate
non-perishables for the Thanksgiving basket raffle fundraiser. Donations should be left
at the Parish Hall, by the bingo board, on any Thursday until Nov.
12. Members also should note that volunteers are needed to sell tickets Thursdays at the church beano and on Sundays after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Call Cecilia at
364-3314.

Funds available

PERU — The Town of Peru has funds remaining from the DEP
Small Community Grant Program. The program provides grants to
municipalities to assist low to moderate income (up to $40,000) property
owners with failing septic systems that are causing water pollution or
public nuisance conditions. Anyone, single family, seasonal or
commercial, having a failed system and who feels that they may qualify
for the grant, may contact Kathy at the Town Office at 562-4627, as
soon as possible.

Donations wanted

RUMFORD — The Rumford Community Home is seeking donations for the upcoming craft fair to be held on Saturday, Nov. 14. Any craft items are welcome, such as knitted hats, kitchen towels, bird houses and wooden
toys.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the resident’s Activity Fund. Donations may be dropped off at the Rumford Community Home, 11 JF Kennedy Lane or call Coe
Coe Gurney, activities director, at 364-7863, ext. 124 to coordinate a
donation.

All
donations for the craft fair are tax deductible.
