After playing many years in Virginia with The Jan Mayes Band and with The Perfect Defectives, Jan Mayes has come back to Maine and teamed up with local musician Jerry Joe Carrier to form the duo Jan Mayes & Jerry Joe. The two will perform 6:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Holly’s Own Deli & Restaurant, 84 Court St,. Auburn. Both are accomplished singers/songwriters/guitarists. They will perform their own originals and harmonize. There is no cover charge.
